Who controls your data
Startup Security Hub is the data controller for this website. If you contact the site, you are contacting the site owner via email.
What we collect
- If you email us: your email address, your message content, and any information you choose to include.
- Basic server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider may process limited technical data (e.g. IP address, user-agent, timestamps, requested URL) to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot.
E-book purchases
If you purchase an e-book, payment and checkout are handled by Buy Me a Coffee. We do not run payments on this website. Buy Me a Coffee may collect and process your personal data according to their own privacy policy.
Why we process data (legal basis)
- To respond to your message (legitimate interest / taking steps at your request).
- To operate and secure the site (legitimate interest).
Retention
- Email: kept as long as needed to respond and for reasonable follow-up, then deleted. If you want deletion sooner, ask.
- Server logs: kept for a limited period, typically days to weeks, then rotated/deleted.
